Today’s delightful Adora Flying A Single Engine Yellow Plane was created by Karissa Purcell from Brisbane, Australia, who wrote: I’m a commercial pilot. When I was young girl, about Adora’s age now, my dad used to take me flying in his hang glider and I absolutely loved it. I still remember the feeling of the wind rushing by, everything looking tiny and different, feeling like a bird.
It was based on this photograph.
In lieu of payment for her work, Karissa asked that I make a donation to The Against Malaria Foundation, which I gladly did.
Thank you so much, Karissa!

Today’s monstrous King Kong Adora was created by Anna Gentilini, a freelance writer & children Illustrator from Austria.
This was done after a request on the Adora Art Wish List. I recently introduced Adora to this story of Beauty and the Beast…
In lieu of payment for her work, Anna asked that I make a donation to UNICEF, which I gladly did.
Dank Dank, Anna!
