Today’s lovely Adora Followed By A Flock Of Ducklings was created by British freelance illustrator Amanda Pollard from Staines-upon-Thames in Surrey. Here is her blog & etsy store. It was done after a request on the Adora Art Wish List.
Amanda wrote that the piece was inspired by the ‘traditional’ British summer they’ve been experiencing for the last 3 months of persistent rain, as well as her favorite childhood poetry book, A. A. Milne’s ‘Now We Are Six’.
In lieu of payment for her work, Amanda chose to make a donation to Bliss Charity (for care and support for premature babies & their families). Thank you so much, Amanda!
