Today’s gorgeous Adora Rainbow Portrait was created in colored pencils on Oplina paper by Carmen Harada Olivares from Mexico. Her blog. Her tribute to Misora Hibari on her YouTube channel (Guitar by Carmen). It is based on this photograph. For signature, Carmen used her ‘Gagou’ or elegant name, given to her in Japanese calligraphy when she got her 1st ‘Dan’. It reads ‘Shunyou’ or “Spring Sun”. This drawing turned to be the last one she made in 2011 so it is very special for her. Thank you so much, Carmen!
